CFHS Programme for Session 2011 - 2012

Flagstone Industry.
On Wednesday 12th
October at
7pm in
Caithness Horizons, we will be holding our
Annual General Meeting.
A good attendance is requested so that members can choose Office Bearers and
Committee Members and have their say about the running of the society.
The newly appointed Caithness Archivist, Gordon Reid,
will address members at our meeting on
Wednesday 9th November 2011
in the
Nethercliffe Hotel, Wick at
7pm.
On
Wednesday 14th December 2011 at
7 pm
in
West Church Hall, Thurso,
we will have the Christmas event which had to be postponed in 2010. This is
Xmas Past
with
Harry Gray.
On
Wednesday
11th January 2012
at
7pm in Caithness Horizons,
Ricky Mackay
will speak about
Old Thurso.
On
Wednesday February
8th
at
7pm in Caithness Horizons,
Mr Carey
will tell us about the research he did into his house.

Wednesday April 11

Bunty Gunn
will be our speaker.
Speakers for

cannot yet confirm the date they prefer, but our evenings will include
Alan Calder
telling us about his DNA profile, advice on researching your
military
ancestors, stories of Caithness
shipwrecks and lifeboats
and a trip to a place of historical interest.
